Vacation time is so important. It's the time we set aside for the people and things that we love away from routine, when we are most fully present with each other. Our family treated vacation as some of the most special times, where we could try new things and be in these shared experiences together. From these moments together we became closer and more understanding, and I knew there was something really special there.

I realized travel has the capability to do more than help us escape our daily routines. The right trip can inspire us, challenge us, reconnect us with the people we love - and ourselves, and remind us what it feels like to be fully present. And in that space of presence is where we can grow.

I did not set out to build a travel company. I set out to create a life that made me feel the most like myself. Along the way, I have been fortunate to experience places and moments that expanded my perspective and brought me closer to who I am.

My journey brought me to Costa Rica during a university trip. I fell in love with the country’s natural beauty, slower rhythm of life, and the warmth of its people. There was something here I wanted to explore more, and so I started volunteering in luxury hospitality and eventually, what started as a visit became a decision to stay.

While working in the hospitality industry I started building relationships with chefs, guides, store owners, drivers, photographers, and the people running some of the coolest stays in the country. The kind of people who make a trip feel like it was made just for you (because it is).

Through VIBE, I share that trusted, lived-in network with the same care and taste I would use when planning a trip for my own family and friends.

That is why I created VIBE.
